Your facial treatment will be followed by a chemical peel, a soothing mask, and red or blue LED light therapy to calm the skin. Light therapy can shrink the oil glands in your skin, kill acne-causing bacteria, and reduce inflammation. We’ll follow that with hydration and sunscreen.

Results And Recovery

There is no downtime or recovery after an acne facial. Your skin will be mildly red for 2-3 days, similar to a sunburn, and during this time, skin flaking or peeling is also common. You’ll want to stick to a gentle moisturizer and sunscreen for up to a week after your facial and follow any aftercare instructions your provider gives you during your appointment. 

Multiple facials can be scheduled a few weeks apart for maximum benefits and improvements. 

Over time, your skin will look and feel smoother, and any inflammation will subside, allowing you to enjoy clear, radiant skin.
